Creating Food Value Chain Transformations through Regional Food Hubs: A Review Article

This article synthesizes the evidence on food value chains (FVCs) and regional hubs (RFHs) through a systematic literature review suggests future research directions based gaps identified in review. The number of publications FVCs RFHs is increasing, indicating that these topics are gaining interest among scholars from different countries disciplines. Bibliometric analysis preferred reporting items for meta-analysis (PRISMA) flow chart used to identify data Scopus. results show an innovative solution improve skills capacity smallholder farmers collaborative networks can match functions RFHs. connect local producers customers by operating business social entrepreneurship ecological approaches increase economic viability sustainability agriculture products. designed respond supply chain insecurity with value-based order achieve sustainable nutrition community. Further emphasizes model development developing security entrepreneurship, environmental aspect it use support food.
